Real Italian pizza, light, tasty, fresh ingredients. Best pizza ever, as Italian as it gets! The whole menu is amazing, it's worth coming back to try it all!

Although we were limited to the outdoor dining experience, their was clearly no expense spared, with great lighting and adequate heating facilities for the winter months. The staff were attentive... but not overbearing, friendly and curious. The starter of meatballs and garlic bread that myself and my partner ordered were delicious, I actually found the garlic bread tastier than the pepperoni pizza which I had for my main, although the dough was great the cheese and sauce just didn't sit right with me, I did however out this down to the fact that I enjoy my pizzas a little on the crispier side, but that's no fault of there's. That being said Croft alley has definitely gained new repeat customers in myself and my partner, to quote Arnie "I'll be back!".read more

Always and amazing experience and atmosphere whether your meal is sit down or take away. The staff go above and beyond and make every visit a pleasure. Their dough is soft and always baked to... perfection, they always have the freshest ingredients and the wine selection is superb.read more

I was really expecting something better due the reviews but first that there is no delivery and we are in lockdown. second that they only have pizzas available which makes no sense. But we order... anyway. The base of the pizza was so chewy, it was like eating rubber.read more

We just got pizza to take home. So happy these guys are open during lockdown for collection. Amazing crust, amazing taste. They don't cut their pizzas for collection and it is so good, they are far... less watery that way, perfect. Also a quick blast in your own oven the next morning (if there is any left 😂) and they are even better. I love this place. Really great pricing too. Can't wait for them to reopen to dining to have their amazing starters.read more

Visited Croft Alley today to celebrate leaving cert results and I am speaking highly about this establishment. I am very choosey about eating out but this place I give 110 percent. I never knew I loved pizza so much until I visited Croft Alley in Portlaoise recently. Small venue, but big on taste, big on service and big on atmosphere... a fabulous wood fire pizza oven operating... right in the middle of the restaurant. Highly recommend a visit.read more
